The overcoat also has a hood that has many protrusions that give the appearance of a sun. įollowing the first invasion by the Wandenreich, Mayuri dons a bright white overcoat with many ridges on the front. On the backside of the headdress the Twelfth Division symbol is painted. Underneath his chin are two opposite facing strands from the mask. He wears a long, golden headdress which curves back to his mid back. The black face paint covers much of his face, leaving thin white lines going up his face and a white nose. ġ7 months after Aizen's defeat, Mayuri displays another new look. His hair is also styled into "horns," that slope down from the top of his head and frame his face, which when viewed from the front looks much like a Pharaoh's crown. His ear attachments have become shorter and rounder but wider, his chin has a long golden attachment reminiscent of an Egyptian Pharaoh beard, his teeth have become a golden color, and he no longer wears a hat as there is a golden frame around his face. Upon entering Hueco Mundo, Mayuri reveals a new look: his face paint had changed with him creating a black cross upon the center of his face covering everything but his nose and a small portion of his lower chin. He has small, slatted portcullises with multiple earrings in place of where his ears would be, and his body is covered in scars. Without his makeup, Mayuri has blue hair and honey gold eyes. He repaints his makeup every morning, as he always removes it before going to bed. His whole body, even his face and hands, has been painted black and white. He also wears a white hat with two ends that point to his right and a large purple scarf around his neck. The one long fingernail is as long as the finger itself. His fingernails are blue and, with the exception of the fingernail on his right middle finger, are all short. Both his ears are seemingly replaced with stubbed golden cones. His eyes are a golden color and he constantly bares his teeth giving the appearance of him constantly smiling. His face is painted entirely white with the inner portion of his face painted black with the exception of his nose. Londontown also has a flash dry KUR topcoat, so I may try that one next.Mayuri's appearance has a skeletal look to it with a skull-like visage. The photos truly don’t do this polish justice.Īpplication tip: I like to use three coats and finish with the Essie gel topcoat. Just the perfect hint of a subtle pearlized sheen (like a less intense version of the now famous Hailey Bieber nails). What sets it apart from other pinky/nude polishes is that it has an illuminative quality to it without being sparkly. While red nail polish will always be my #1, I’m glad I added this polish to my collection. I ordered mine on amazon and absolutely love it – it’s perfect for summer! Why? Because with all of the time we spend outdoors and in chlorine and with constant sunscreen application, a neutral nail is much more forgiving – chips are less noticeable and your nails stay looking neater/fresher, longer (even if you do get a chip!) The hype behind this product is its ability to give nails a “lit from within” glow and a very natural – but still noticeable, finish. But then I started seeing literally everyone I follow on IG talk about the Londontown KUR illuminating nail concealer ( in the color “milky”) and you know I can’t resist trying a heavily hyped/viral product. I’ve been painting my nails red at home for over two years now and never thought I’d have the desire to have a neutral nail again.
